Christoph Haßler is full-time head of music at the State Seminar for Teacher Training for Primary Schools in Kaiserslautern. He began his musical career as a child in the Südwestpfälzer Children’s Choir (SWPK) Münchweiler an der Rodalb, then still under the direction of his father Bernhard Haßler. Through his father, he learned how to work with the child’s voice. At present, he is director of the Children’s Choir.

In 1994, Haßler founded the ex-semble women’s chamber choir, consisting of former SWPK singers and, just as with the SWPK, soon won several national and international first prizes. Christoph Haßler is a frequent guest with his choirs at national and international choir festivals and competitions. Under his direction, both choirs have produced a number of CD albums and participated in many radio and television productions.

Christoph Haßler, who received important musical inspiration from Helmuth Rilling, has won several conducting awards and was named Choir Director ADC for his outstanding artistic achievements and his choral work.
