Jacobus Gladziwa, from the city of Aachen, studied orchestral conducting and church music in Dresden and Leipzig. He has worked as district church musician in Delitzsch, as commissioner for church music of the diocese of Magdeburg, and from 2020 to 2025 as a church musician at St. Ludwig in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. Since the summer of 2025, he has been priory director of music at the St. Trinitatis priory church in Leipzig.

Jacobus Gladziwa regularly performs concerts in Germany and abroad and has served as lecturer in organ playing as part of the C-course of the Archdiocese of Berlin at the Berlin University of the Arts.

Since 2023, he has been a regular guest organist at the Organ Hall in Lviv, Ukraine. He is one of the most versatile church musicians of his generation.
