Catalina Bertucci
Soprano

The Chilean-Italian soprano Catalina Bertucci completed her undergraduate studies in Chile before undertaking postgraduate training with Barbara Schlick at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne and a concert exam with Gerhild Romberger at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold. Her vocal development has also been shaped by masterclasses with Angelika Kirchschlager, András Schiff, and Andreas Scholl, among others.
She has appeared at prestigious venues such as the Volksoper Vienna, Landestheater Linz, Opéra de Lausanne, Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Semperoper Dresden, Teatro Municipal de Santiago, and Staatstheater Darmstadt, in roles including The Magic Flute, Gianni Schicchi, Don Giovanni, Der Rosenkavalier, The Rake’s Progress, The Marriage of Figaro, and La Bohème. In 2024, she made her debut at the Bayreuth Festival under the baton of Pablo Heras-Casado, followed by an invitation to return in 2025.
Bertucci is also a sought-after concert soloist, having sung under conductors such as Ton Koopman, Gotthold Schwarz and Andreas Reize (both Thomaskantors), Hans Christoph Rademann, Hansjörg Albrecht, Hermann Max, Rubén Dubrovsky, and Howard Arman, performing with renowned orchestras at major festivals and venues. As a Lied singer, she has collaborated with Alexander Fleischer and the esteemed accompanist Helmut Deutsch, with whom she recorded her first solo album in 2023.
