Bass-baritone Mathis Koch comes from a Herford-based family of musicians and studied harp under Godelieve Schrama and voice and song interpretation under Heiner Eckels, Lars Woldt, Mario Zeffiri and Manuel Lange at the Conservatory in Detmold. He is a permanent member of the Berlin Radio Chorus and is also a sought-after concert and oratorio singer.
