Sophia Schambeck has created a tribute to nature with her recently released album "Nature". "Nature is a musical expression of everything I feel in nature, from the reverent amazement of watching color explosions on the horizon, to the joy of birdsong, to the primal fear of experiencing the forces of nature." (Sophia Schambeck)
The flautist is not the only one with a strong connection to the unique natural world; many composers have also created works inspired by nature. From Hildegard von Bingen to the present day with Sofia Gubaidulina and Wilma Pistorius. Let yourself be enchanted by the sounds of nature and experience flute music that spans over 900 years and is played on 13 different recorders at the Kunstkraftwerk Bergson in Munich.
