Viktor Soos

Pianist Viktor Soos is regarded as one of the most outstanding musicians of his generation. Concert tours have taken him to Japan, China, Argentina, Russia, Chile, and the United States, among other countries.

As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras such as the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, the Brandenburger Symphoniker, the Philharmonisches Orchester der Hansestadt Lübeck, and the Staatskapelle Halle. Viktor Soos has already worked together with renowned artistic personalities including star violinist Midori and clarinetist Sabine Meyer.

Radio recordings are regularly produced with broadcasters such as Deutschlandfunk, NDR, BR, MDR, WDR, and SWR.

Viktor Soos has received numerous prizes in national and international competitions. He is Second Prize Winner of the prestigious European Piano Competition 2024 in Bremen and winner of the International Robert-Schumann-Competition 2021 in Zwickau.

He regularly gives masterclasses in Germany and abroad. Since 2024, he has been a lecturer at the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media and is a scholarship holder of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).

Viktor Soos was a junior student at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in Oliver Kern’s piano class. From 2015 to 2021, he studied piano at the University of Music Lübeck under Konrad Elser before continuing his studies at the University of Music, Drama, and Media Hannover in the class of Bernd Goetzke.
