When Anika Paulick and Michelle Bernard meet during an opera production, they discover their shared love of chanson. The two classically trained musicians studied in the music city of Leipzig and, apart from lola.gelb, are still at home in the world of opera and concerts.
With their first programme ‘Aufbruch. And then where am I?’, they made their debut at the Cottbus State Theatre in 2022 and have since performed at the internationally renowned Kurt Weill Fest Dessau, the Theater im Palais Berlin and the Seebühne at the Krystallpalast Varieté Leipzig, among others.
