On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the German Record Critics' Award Association published the new longlist of nominations for the Best of 4/2025.
We are delighted that four GENUIN albums have been nominated for the Best of 4/2025 list. In the category Chamber Music II, the Amelio Trio is among the nominees with their debut album Time in Flux ... (GEN25935) is among the nominees, while in the category Choir and Vocal Ensemble the album Unerhörte Komponistinnen (GEN25939) by Ensemble Horizons, conducted by Matthias Klosinski, is among the nominees in the category Keyboard Instruments I, while Sophia Weidemann with her interpretation of BACH-GOLDBERG (GEN25941) and Jennifer Lim with her album Mystical Mozart (GEN25928), which includes all of the composer's piano sonatas.
The 152 critics on the jury nominated a total of 260 new releases from the last quarter in 32 categories. The winners and thus this year's final list of the best 4/2025 will be announced on November 14, 2025. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
