Clarinettist Elad Navon receives GENUIN Special Prize at the ARD 2025 International Music Competition

The ARD 2025 International Music Competition is drawing to a close. This year's competition took place from September 1-19 in the categories piano, trumpet and clarinet. The winners have been announced and can be heard in the prizewinners' concerts from 17-19 September 2025.

Elad Navon (1st prize), Hongyi Jiang (2nd prize) and Lev Zhuravskii (3rd prize) were awarded in the clarinet category, Liya Wang (1st prize), Elias Ackerley (2nd prize), Jiwon Yang (3rd prize) in the piano category and Robin Paillet (1st prize), Sandro Hirsch (2nd prize) and Raphaël Horrach (3rd prize) in the trumpet category.

This year, GENUIN is awarding a Dolby Atmos production as a special prize. After intensive consultation among the sound engineers Holger Busse, Alfredo Lasheras and Michael Silberhorn, this year's special prize goes to the Israeli-born clarinettist Elad Navon.

The GENUIN edition of the ARD Music Competition:
Since 2016, GENUIN has awarded a special prize to one of the competition winners every year. The prize is awarded by our sound engineers Holger Busse, Alfredo Lasheras and Michael Silberhorn, who jointly select the winner. GENUIN has already supported several young musicians in recent years, including the harpist Tjasha Gafner, the string quartet Barbican Quartet, the violist Diyang Mei and the wind quintet Alinde Quintet.
