Wataru Hisasue, who was recently awarded second prize at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition, will be performing in Leipzig next Sunday, August 10, 2025. On the occasion of the Leipzig Piano Summer 2025, he will give a matinée at the Mendelssohn House with works by Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Hensel and Liszt.

On his new album, which will be released in the fall, the award-winning pianist dedicates himself to the works of French composer Pascal Dusapin. Not only the Seven Etudes for Piano, which were written between 1998 and 2001, are immortalized on the album, but also the title work of the album - the piano work no. 1 Did it again, which is available as a world premiere recording. The recordings were made in cooperation with BR.

The album "Did it again" will be released on October 10, 2025 in stores and also on streaming and download platforms.
