Isn't always love the same and yet constantly new? This could be the motto of the new GENUIN CD by soprano Heidi Maria Taubert. Here she mixes passacaglias and chaconnes from the Baroque era with her own arrangements and compositions by Ercole Nisini, which take up the examples. The infinite variety of the variations on an ostinato bass fits in with the multifaceted poetical play about the joys and sorrows of love. The CD is a delightful journey of discovery featuring works by Monteverdi and Frescobaldi, by Purcell and Krieger: highly valuable in terms of repertoire and exquisitely executed by Heidi Maria Taubert and the ensemble Instrumenta Musica!

Kreuzer
"Together with a small chamber cast the singer strikes a fascinating arc stretching from Monteverdi to the present day."
Hagen Kunze, May 2021

Deutschlandfunk Kultur
CD-Tipp 04. Januar 2021

Musik in Dresden
"with a great feel for the respective style - musically relaxing and exciting at the same time"
Review by Alexander Keuk, 10.12.2020

Concerti
"Heidi Maria Taubert sings with a silvery, sparkling, weightless voice and a wonderfully matching cast."
Zur Rezension von Sabine Näher , 8. Dezember 2020

Neue (musikalische) Blätter
"The voices - from the soprano to the ensemble - are all solo. This gives the recording a great deal of clarity, but also that intimacy that you actually expect when it comes to d’amore. The singing voice of Heidi Maria Taubert can effortlessly rise above the accompanist"
