Zhi-Jong Wang spans a bridge between the East and West, between Sofia Gubaidulina and Bright Sheng, between Arvo Pärt and Lera Auerbach. However, she does not fall into the trap of globalization – leveling everything, but instead follows a wholly individual, striking path. Highest marks for repertoire and interpretation!
