Tenor and composer Daniel Behle has enjoyed equal success in the concert, art song, and opera realms. He performs with orchestras including the Staatskapelle Dresden, Berlin and Vienna philharmonics, Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Orchestre de Paris, WDR Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra.
As a Lied singer, Daniel Behle captivates his audiences at the Schwetzingen Festival, Schubertiade Schwarzenberg · Hohenems, Prinzregententheater Munich, Kölner Philharmonie, Beethoven House Bonn, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, London’s Wigmore Hall, and Richard Strauss Festival Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Operatic engagements have taken him to the Oper Frankfurt, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Wiener Staatsoper, Staatsoper Berlin, Hamburg State Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, Milan’s La Scala, Opéra National de Paris, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Royal Swedish Opera Stockholm, Opéra National de Lyon, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, and Bayreuth Festival.
His compositions and arrangements have attracted wide attention and have been featured on the CDs >WinterreiseN, Mein Hamburg, and Meine schönsten Weihnachtslieder. As of 2018 he has also released twelve solo albums that have earned high praise from critics, including Die Schöne Müllerin and Strauss Lieder as well as Gluck Opera Arias and Schubert Arias.
