Titos Gouvelis

Born in Athens, pianist Titos Gouvelis studied with Aris Garoufalis, Peter Katin, Fali Pavri, and Dominique Merlet. A prizewinner in multiple competitions, he has performed with major orchestras including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Athens and Thessaloniki State Orchestras, and Armonia Atenea, under conductors such as Emil Tabakov and George Petrou.

He has played recitals in various countries all over Europe, Asia, and Africa, performing a repertoire ranging from Baroque music to contemporary works, with a strong focus on Greek composers.

He teaches at the Athens Conservatoire and regularly contributes programme notes for leading Greek institutions.
