Hayley Bullock was born in Sydney, Australia, and began playing the violin at four. As a child, she studied at the Newcastle Conservatory and at the age of 17 at the Sydney Conservatory of Music to pursue her violin studies more intensively. There she was awarded the McCaw Bainton Entry Scholarship.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree with honors from the Australian National University and performed in the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. Hayley Bullock was awarded second prize at the ANU Chamber Music Competition. The following year she performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra as part of the Sydney Sinfonia Fellowship Program.
Hayley Bullock lives in Germany and performs with the Chamber Philharmonia Orchestra Cologne, the Russian Chamber Philharmonic St. Petersburg, and the Helios Duo.
