Christian Sprenger is professor of trombone at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar. Following his studies at the University of Music Freiburg, a long association with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin as principle trombone led to his appointment in 2010 at the Weimar University of Music. His creative work focuses on the composition of choral fantasies for symphony orchestra, brass ensemble, and wind band. His musical roots lie in church music.
