Sebastian Naglatzki, a bass-baritone from Hanover, made his opera debut while still a student and quickly gained experience at venues like the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the Landestheater Mecklenburg, and the Oper Kiel. Over the past few years, he’s built up an impressive repertoire of more than 60 roles.
As a concert singer, he has already performed in wellknown concert halls such as the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, the Liederhalle Stuttgart, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Lincoln Center in New York. He has a special love for art song and is a sought-after interpreter of this genre.
Sebastian Naglatzki’s musical journey started at age seven in the Boys’ Choir of Hannover. His training continued throughout school with private studies from Peter Sefcik. He then earned a vocal degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, where he studied with Wolfgang Löser and Hanna Schwarz. He graduated with honors, earning both his diploma and concert exam.
He has won several awards, including the Internationale Interpretationswettbewerb „Verfemte Musik“, the Maritim Music Competition, the Competition of the Elise Meyer Foundation, and the International Singing Competition at Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg. He’s also been supported by scholarships from Yehudi Menuhin “Live Music Now,” the Franz Wirth Memorial Foundation, and the Richard Wagner Association.
