Sebastian Bodinus (1700-1759)

Müller, but also their latest release, a true world premiere of trio sonatas by Karlsruhe court musician Sebastian Bodinus (1700 -1759), which so far have suffered undeserved neglect on concert programs. In a disc commemorating the 250th anniversary of Bodinus’s death, the brilliance and inspired performances of oboist Marianne Pfau and her excellent colleagues not only blow the dust off historic gems, but also give your speakers a lively and elegant spring cleaning.
