Magdalena Bojanowicz

The cellist Magdalena Bojanowicz has won many international prizes, including first prize at the International Jeunesses Musicales Competition in Belgrade, second prize at the VIII. Witold Lutosławski International Cello Competition in Warsaw, third prize at the I. Krzysztof Penderecki International Cello Competition in Kraków and second prize at the International Beethoven Cello Competition in Hradec.

She received the Polityka Passport Award in 2012 and has been a Thomastik­Infeld artist since 2015. She took part in many renowned festivals such as the Warsaw Autumn Festival, the MusicConnects Festival in Bad Ragaz, the Gulangyu Art Festival in China, the Polish Music Festival in Moscow and the Music on the Heights Festival in Zakopane. She has also performed in France, Germany, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus.
