Carsten Duffin

After completing his studies in Stuttgart with Prof. Christian Lampert, Carsten Duffin gained early orchestral experience with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra Berlin, and the Deutsche Sinfonieorchester Berlin. He became principal horn of the Staatsorchester Stuttgart in September 2007. Carsten Duffin has been principal horn of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks since September 2010 and has also performed with the Orchester der Bayreuther Festspiele since 2010.
